A fireside chat with Sally Kohn and Martin Gobbee- Moderator.   Sally a member of the queer community, is a nationally recognized television commentator, writer and executive presence coac working iwth top executives and political leaders.  With her missage of connection and compassion for all, Sally is an in-demand speaker worldwide. In fun and informative talks, filled with powerful personal stories and mind-blowing research, Sally helps teams and communities move past conflict to find their common ground.  She leaves audiences feeling more empowered, hopeful and inspired.  Sally's first book, THE OPPOSITE OF HATE was published in April 2018.  She has three TED talks that have been viewed more than 6 million times. 
Moderator Martin Gobbee is a local business Manager in hospitality, and a member of the Wake UP Sonoma Board. He and Sally have been friends for many years, and the two are having a reunion on stage with this fireside chat.  He has a BA in history and a Master of Fine arts in acting from Brandeis University.
