Michael Bruce Scanlan
Administrative Assistant to Santa | Author & Publisher, The Scanlan Publishing Company
A Vietnam Era Veteran and longtime business professional, Michael Bruce Scanlan brings a lifetime of rich experience, warmth, and dedication to everything he creates. Above all, as a proud father and grandfather, family has always been at the center of his life.
Michael’s journey into the world of festive storytelling began back in high school, decades ago. His passion for rhythm, rhyme, and holiday magic evolved into The (As Told by Santa™) storybook series—a beloved collection of seven beautifully illustrated, rhyming children's books that capture the heart, humor, and wonder of the Christmas season.
His stories evolved naturally into his remarkable theatrical production, As Told by Santa™, which brings the magic to life through storytelling, songs, animation, and audience interaction to ensure traditions are upheld and celebrated, while smiles are delivered to children and families everywhere. Whether organizing holiday fundraisers or bringing stories to life on stage, spreading warmth, literacy, and holiday cheer all year round has been a lifetime tradition for him.
